La Fuente

La Fuente is an umbrella organization that brings together labor and community partners who are engaged in neighborhood based grassroots organizing efforts around immigrant and worker rights issues. Through leadership training and organizing, union members and community partners will promote the human rights and dignity of new immigrants in our society. La Fuente’s current projects, the New York Civic Participation Project and the Long Island Civic Participation Project, link union members, community members, congregations and immigrant associations to initiate and support campaigns that are consistent with the overall basebuilding mission.
